There must be something in the water here...
because I am posting photos of fly fishing! What is wrong with me?

Yesterday Eric 's friend Eric (E2) was doing some video taping (actually having someone else videotape) of himself fly fishing. We went to check it out and Eric thought that he might do some fishing too but decided against it. I just couldn't resist snapping a few shots. It was hard to get a decent shot because the guy videoing was in the way of the best views.

It was a beautiful day though! Sunny and warm with a little snow still left on the ground.
This is my favorite shot of E2's reflection in Eric's sunglasses.

Winter in Montana

This is the Yellowstone River which is frozen right now. You can't see it from this photo but there are huge blocks of ice pushing more huge blocks of ice up onto the river banks and piling on top of each other. I guess I have never gone down to the river at this time of year because I have never seen this before. It is amazing and beautiful.

These shots were taken at the Spring Creeks which do not freeze due to the fact that they are spring fed (hence the name). We actually saw two guys fly fishing when we were there. What is it about fly fishing that makes people so crazy! I was out of the truck for 5 minute intervals tops and could barely stand the bitter windy cold.

And finally, here is Eric in the hat I knit him for Christmas, humoring me before jumping back into the warmth of Rusty.
